Eric + Lauren: Engaged

Last Saturday I had the pleasure of shooting an engagement session with a special couple, Eric and Lauren. The combination of a beautiful sunny morning and Richmond’s downtown charm set the stage for a great shoot. Eric and Lauren are such a fun couple, even bringing along a football to show their shared love of sports. My appreciation to them for allowing me to capture this special time, and I wish them all the best!

Luigi + Jasmine: Married

I had the pleasure of photographing the wonderful wedding of Luigi and Jasmine Gibson on June 25th along with good friend Makya of Mareta Creations. The wedding and reception were both at the Josephine Butler Park’s Center, a beautiful venue in NW Washington, D.C. The event begin in the center’s garden followed by a lively reception inside the building. I have to say this was definitely one of the funnest weddings I have had the opportunity to photograph. The music, the laughter and the energy of the fun couple had everyone on their feet until the end. It was truly an event to a remember and I am so glad I had the opportunity to be apart of it. Congratulations again Mr.and Mrs.Gibson!

Rufus + Celicia: Married

I always enjoy shooting at Oxon Hill Manor because of the beautiful landscape and the artistic layout of the venue. On August 12th, I had the pleasure of capturing the wedding of Rufus and Celicia Little. Despite the temperature in triple digits, the wedding was filled with smiles and laughter. It was truly a great time. Congratulations Mr. and Mrs. Little.

Mike + Nelsy: Married

Its always difficult as a professional photographer when close friends get married. In many cases you want to be the photographer for their event but you also want to be a guest and enjoy the event with the couple and other friends. When Mike let me know Nelsy and him would be getting married in Playa Del Carmen, Mexico I decided to go the guest route so I truly could enjoy their wedding with them and celebrate them both. However I had to bring my camera to capture a couple photos for the beautiful couple. These are a few of my favorites from the wedding day. Congrats Michael and Nelsy, truly a beautiful wedding.

The Williams: Family

Each year The Williams Family usually makes its way back to the states from London, England during Easter weekend. I always enjoy this time of year because of spending time with family but I also get the chance to catch up with my old college friends, Craig and Candace. They have a beautiful family and it is a pleasure capturing moments that can be reflected on for years to come. I look forward to their next trip home and seeing how much the kids have grown!
