I recently added a new light stand to my collection and decided to try it out on my wife. She is great because like most women she loves to be photographed. We had a great time experimenting with lighting from different angles and just playing a round. Here are a few shots from our escapade.
I worked with Raven last year and had a wonderful time. So I was very pleased when she asked me to do another shoot for her before the weather changed for the worst. We met at Meridian Park located at 16th and W in Washington D.C. The park was already in a transformation to be shut down for the winter but it was still a great environment to get good photos. We had a great time and I look forward to working with her again next year.

Who said the month of the December is not a great time to get married? I have done a few December weddings over the last few years and they have always been fun and full of excitement. The wedding of Michael and Lindsey Bowman was no different on December 3, 2011. The wedding and reception took place at a illustrious mansion in Baltimore County, MD. The night was filled will great food, music and partying by the guest. Michael and Lindsey were also awesome to work with and I wish them the best. I hope you enjoy the photos.

I did a photo shoot for Baby Aila after she was first born close to a year and a half ago. So when Ashleigh asked me to do another shoot for her I was excited to see how much Aila had grown. Ashleigh let me know she wanted to do a “Girl’s” shoot with 3 generations of the family. Ashleigh’s mother, herself and Baby Aila. I was so surprised to see a cute infant running around full of spunk and noise. We did a brief shoot in Old Town Alexandria and we will definitely have to do another soon. November 11, 2011 was a very popular day for weddings. I must have gotten 3 or 4 inquiries for that special day. However I was very lucky to be contacted by Russell and Holleigh first. The two of them were so fun to work with the whole wedding day. I laughed the night away while interacting with the two and seeing how much they were truly meant for each other. It was a great occasion and I wish them well. I hope you enjoy the photos.
